Jasbindar Singh’s life took a devastating turn when his vehicle was T-boned at an intersection. Mr. Singh was halfway through the intersection when the defendant ran a stop sign and struck his car on the passenger side. The impact was so severe that Mr. Singh was ejected from his vehicle and thrown into a nearby field. His car was completely totaled.

Two and a half years later, Mr. Singh has made progress but continues to suffer from daily neck pain, headaches, and lower back pain. These ongoing symptoms have impacted both his ability to teach and his capacity to care for his children—two roles that require substantial physical activity.
