Sarah E. Lopez, Esq. joined M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers in 2023 as a litigation attorney. Sarah has been an attorney since 2004, after earning her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Sarah also holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business.

About Sarah Lopez
Sarah began her career as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy. There, she represented servicemembers in Courts Martial and at Administrative Separation Boards, advised U.S. Navy Admirals on complex employee relations matters, conducted investigations, coordinated with Federal and local law enforcement agencies, provided guidance on Rules of Engagement and Law of the Sea while deployed to the Arabian Gulf, served as a law clerk to two Appellate level judges, and also served as an appellate defense counsel, winning a felony conviction set aside at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and also an attempted premeditated murder conviction set aside by the Navy and Marine Corp Court of Criminal Appeals.
Outside of the Navy, Sarah previously worked at the Meehan Law Firm in Los Angeles. Sarah is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the admitted to practice law in the states of California and Idaho. When not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her rescue dog and cat, hiking, traveling, and learning new things.
