Robert Miller

Robert attended the University of California, Irvine, and graduated with a B.A in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School with a concentration in Civil Litigation and Trial Advocacy. During law school, Robert clerked at the State Bar of California and also externed for the Honorable Yvonne Sanchez at the Norwalk Courthouse, drafting tentative rulings regarding motions for the judge to rule on.

Robert was born and raised in Palm Springs and is licensed to practice law in the State of California. Upon receiving his license to practice law in 2014, Robert litigated felony preliminary hearings and argued motions on behalf of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and had his first jury trial in December 2014. This exciting experience led to Robert being bitten by the “trial bug”. Ever since then, he has been eager to try cases when it was deemed necessary, to further his zealously advocating for his clients.

He has handled close to a dozen jury trials so far, receiving outstanding results.

Prior to joining M&Y, Robert served as an in-house trial attorney for Mercury Insurance for nearly 5 years. With that personal knowledge of the inner workings of the insurance defense industry, Robert can effectively work for all of his M&Y clients in helping them obtain the justice that they deserve.

Prior to working for Mercury Insurance, Robert had been passionately advocating for his clients in their personal injury matters for nearly 4 years.

Outside of the firm, Robert is active in the legal community and holds memberships in several bar associations dedicated to serving injured individuals, including Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC).

In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time at the beach, snowboarding, camping, hiking, and going on roller coasters.
