Rebecca Cavalier

Rebecca is an Associate Attorney at M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, where she is dedicated to advocating for those who have been injured due to the negligence of others. With a background in insurance defense, Rebecca brings a unique perspective to her personal injury practice, understanding how the other side thinks and using that insight to better serve her clients.

Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, graduating cum laude. During law school, she distinguished herself as a Teaching Fellow in both Torts and Constitutional Law, reflecting her strong academic foundation and commitment to legal education. She also volunteered with the Community Law Project, providing free legal assistance to underserved communities, and was actively involved in student leadership as Secretary of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and a member of the Environmental Law Society.

Rebecca chose to pursue personal injury law because she is passionate about fighting for individuals who have been wrongfully injured. She believes everyone deserves a strong advocate in their corner and is committed to helping clients recover the compensation they need to rebuild their lives.

About Sarah Lopez

Sarah began her career as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy.   There, she represented servicemembers in Courts Martial and at Administrative Separation Boards, advised U.S. Navy Admirals on complex employee relations matters, conducted investigations, coordinated with Federal and local law enforcement agencies, provided guidance on Rules of Engagement and Law of the Sea while deployed to the Arabian Gulf, served as a law clerk to two Appellate level judges, and also served as an appellate defense counsel, winning a felony conviction set aside at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and also an attempted premeditated murder conviction set aside by the Navy and Marine Corp Court of Criminal Appeals.

Outside of the Navy, Sarah previously worked at the Meehan Law Firm in Los Angeles.  Sarah is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the admitted to practice law in the states of California and Idaho.  When not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her rescue dog and cat, hiking, traveling, and learning new things.
