Gregory Martin

Greg attended law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego where he was the recipient of the Creative Problem Solving Scholarship and a Diversity Scholarship. While in law school, he was a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society, an award bestowed to students who complete over fifty hours of pro bono work in one school semester while still attending classes.

About Gregory Martin

He also participated in the Jessup International Moot Court competition, tutored foreign attorneys in law school classes, and was Social Chair of the International Law Society. He graduated from law school in two years, Cum Laude, with an emphasis on International Law. Prior to law school, Greg attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations and a minor in European History. 

After graduating, Greg started a small private practice in San Diego with another attorney. The law firm provided pro bono legal services to low-income individuals  For over a year, Greg managed the firm and provided legal services to low-income individuals throughout San Diego County.

In early 2016, Greg worked full-time on a large securities class action case for a large firm that settled for $219 million. 

In 2016, Greg started representing injured people in personal injury cases. He was the second chair in a personal injury trial in Long Beach Superior Court that resulted in a jury award of $6,441,974.97. Prior to trial, the highest offer to settle from Defendants was $25,000.00.

Greg has participated in cases that have resulted in over $250 million in verdicts and settlements. Since starting at M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers in September of 2023, Greg has helped our clients recover millions of dollars in settlements. 

Greg applies maximum focus and attention to detail in all work he does. He strives to provide his clients with an interactive attorney-client relationship based on clear and concise communication. When not practicing law, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and spending time at the beach.
