Reonna C. Green joined M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers in 2021 after spending several years as a senior trial attorney in both criminal and civil courts. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Green worked for a large insurance company where she successfully defended cases on behalf of her clients.
It was during her time as an insurance defense attorney that she advanced her skills as a civil litigator and learned exactly how insurance companies evaluate cases. This is a skill she now uses to the benefit of her injured clients in helping them obtain maximum settlements for injuries sustained.
Ms. Green aims to take the confusion out of the legal process for those who have been injured or wronged. She represents individuals who have sustained injuries in connection with motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, auto vs. pedestrian accidents, premises liability or slip/trip and fall incidents, and animal attacks, among other areas.
Since joining the firm, she has successfully assisted the firm in obtaining a $1,000,000 settlement for a client injured in an automobile accident, among several other large settlements.
Prior to joining M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, Ms. Green served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Crimes Against Women and Children Unit and the Major Case Unit, where she became known for her grit, resourcefulness, and compassion. Ms. Green has successfully tried numerous cases, including armed robberies, rape, and murder.
She has a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with opposing counsel, present cases for trial, and negotiate cases for desired outcomes.
Ms. Green received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 2013, completing her degree early, in just two and half years. While at the University of Oklahoma, Ms. Green was a member of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team and was a member of the Board of Advocates, an organization designed to promote superior written and oral advocacy at the national level.
While in law school, Ms. Green also served as an extern at the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office. In 2013, Ms. Green received the American Jurisprudence Award for achieving the highest course grade for Family Law.
